SUSHI RESTAURANT

Senri : Im quite surprised you asked me out Risa.

Risa : I have something to tell you.

Senri : What is it?

Risa : Actually..

Senri : What is it Risa?

Risa : Remember when I came to see you that night.

Senri : Every detail of it.

Risa : And we promised to meet at noon the next day but-

Senri : You cancelled it.

Risa : The thing is… I thought you were the one called it off.

Senri : What do you mean?

Risa : I called you that morning but it wasn’t you who answered the call.

Senri : Who did?

Risa : It was Yuuka.

Senri : Yuuka?Wait,I don’t understand.

Risa : Yuuka answered the phone and she told me that you are her place.And.. and she said that you asked her to tell me that you cant make it that day. And she said that she’s actually seeing you and she hopes I wont interfere.

Senri : what..

Risa : Don’t take this the wrong,I wouldn’t want this to effect your friendship with Yuuka but I think you should know.

Senri : So,it was ..Yuuka?

Risa : More like it.I think you are not that stupid not to realize that she’s been loving you since from the start.

Senri :But,how did you know about this?

Risa : She told me herself when I was in New York.

Senri : She called you?

Risa : I bumped into her in New York.She cant help but to pour it all out and she said that she was so guilty about everything.

Senri : ..

Risa : Im sorry if this is going to be hard on you but--

Senri : So this is the reason why you decided to go away?

Risa : I was…disappointed .Very very disappointed that I cant think straight.

Senri : So,all this time,you were running away from me?

Risa : Yes.

Senri : Why?

Risa : I couldn’t face you Senri. I was so hurt I couldn’t take it.I just  had to go away.

Senri : And leaving me clueless for years?

Risa : .....

Senri : You know that I still have feelings for you and its not gonna go away easily.

Risa : ….

Senri : Im sorry if I sounded a bit pushy but the thought of you with someone else has haunted me all this time.I cant even think about the fact you with someone else.

THE NEXT MORNING

Risa was in her room,staying in bed after her breakfast. Kaori went out to settle some errands while her mom tagged along because she wanted to do some grocery shopping.Risa kept on massaging her forehead because she kept feeling dizzy but the refused to take any pills.

Risa : And I haven’t even pack yet.What a life.

CAFÉ

Aya : What!?

Emi : Shhhh,don’t be loud Aya!

Aya : What the heck,you met Akira and and--

Emi : Shhh!

Aya : But,didn’t he recognize you?

Emi : I put on extra effort for my make up last night.Was in the right mood for the wrong thing.

Aya : And did you guys talk?

Emi : We did,and he told me about him having strange feelings over a girl.

Aya : oh shit,Risa?

Emi : It could be her,it could be someone else.

Aoi : To point this out,Emi is being daring enough to not dress up today.

Emi : Im heading to the photoshoot later.

SHo : Who knows Akira might see you here.

Emi : No he wont.Its a Saturday?

Emi was leaning on the hot cabinet while Aya is sitting at the counter table. Suddenly the door to the café swung open and all of them turn to see.

Aoi : Speak of the devil Emi.

Emi was so shocked to see Akira entering the café and she quickly hid behind the counter so that he wont see her. Aoi and Sho on the other hand quickly stood near Aya so that Akira wont see Emi sitting down,hiding herself from him

Aya : Good Morning (smiles)

Akira : Morning!

Aya : Strange to see you here on a Saturday

Akira : I need to go stop by the office,so why not get a coffee here first (winks)

Aya : What would you like to drink today?

Akira : Emi is not here today?

Emi : (clenching her mouth)

Akira : (looking around)

Aya : She’s on leave.Not feeling well she said.

Akira : Is she alright?

Aya : She’s perfectly fine.Only just some minor headache

Akira  : OH bummer,I thought of ordering the drink she suggested that day.

Aoi can help but gave Emi a look before turning his back to face the work station.

Aya : You mean the green tea with cinnamon powder?

Akira : aa yes!

Aya : I know the combinations,would you like to have that?

Akira : Definitely!

Aya : You look very energetic today Akira-san (smiles)

Akira :I had a great time last night.Probably because of that (chuckling)

Aya : I see,alright,do wait for your drink at the pick up section (smiles)

Akira : Thank you so much (smiles)

Emi sat still until she saw Akira’s hand reaching the drink Sho placed on the pick up table and she waited until one of them signaled her to stand up.

Emi : He’s gone?

Aoi : Yes.

Emi : Are you sure?

Aya : Get up Emi,he’ s gone.

Emi let out her breath when she stood up,her hair was all messy because of the sudden commotion.Emi kept on inhaling and exhaling so hard that Aoi and Sho cant help but laugh.

Aoi : “ I had a great time last night”

Aya : (lifting her eyebrows)

Emi : Now that’s confusing.

Sho : If Akira is here,probably the other 2 would be here too.

Aya : Risa should have followed us.

Emi : Did she talk to Senri last night.

Aya : She did but she said she will tell us later.

Emi : hmmm.

Aoi :Anyway, Aya,Shinji told he will be back by next Monday. He ask me to apologize to you for taking such a long break.

Aya : Is he alright?

Sho : Probably settling some will

Emi : Will?

Aoi : Shinji’s granddad  left him a fortune after he died last year. Shinji was called back to his home town to settle everything.

Emi : Interesting….

Myu : Excuse meeee

All of them turn around to see Myu and Megumi carrying trays of freshly baked croissant and pastries. The smell filled the whole café instantly and Emi cant help but to grab one of them.

Emi : Just in time Megumi-chan,im hungry.

Megumi : Help yourself!

Aya : Don’t just eat Emi.

Emi : What,its my off day(grinning)

Aya : Your off day my ass,you need to get out of here before your Akira comes back.

Emi : OH shit,that’s true too..
