LIFT AREA

Akira was waiting for the lift when Isane came to stand beside him.

Akira : Mia?

Isane : She’s going to the restaurant first.Meeting up with Riho.

Akira : Not getting any coffee?

Isane : I bought mine earlier.

Akira :  Earlier?

Isane : I was here by 8 Akira.

Akira : That early?

Isane : Yes.

Akira : why that early?

Isane : I picked  Risa up from home.

Akira : You what?

Isane : Picked Risa up,from her house.

Akira : don’t joke around Isane.

Isane : I am not

Akira : Fine.

20^th FLOOR

OFFICE

Kaname ended the meeting and dismiss all of them before throwing himself on the chair.Its been a busy  morning for him and he didn’t even get to get an breakfast before the urgent meeting.

Ichirou : Kaname!

Ichirou barged into the meeting room with a lunch paper bag in his hand and a cup of coffee in the other hand.

Kaname : (rubbing his head)

Ichirou : Here is your breakfast.

Ichirou placed the brown paper bag and the coffee infront of him.

Ichirou : Too busy to even get you breakfast.

Kaname : How do you know I didn’t had any?

Ichirou : Please Kaname,its not like I have known you for like 3 or 4 days. I have known you for like 5 or 6 years.Eat up!Im gonna go to Karin’s for a while.Finish it Kaname!

Ichirou closed the door behind him leaving Kaname alone in the meeting room.

Before Kaname could even reach for his coffee,suddenly there was a knock on the door and he was surprised to see Risa at the door.

Risa : Ichirou said you were looking for me?

Kaname : (clueless)

Risa : (looking at Kaname)

Kaname just let out a small smile thinking that this must be Ichirou’s work saying that he asked for Risa to come to the meeting hall.

Kaname : Come in Risa.

Risa closed the door and walked straight to Kaname.She didn’t even sit because she thought Kaname is just gonna tell her something.

Kaname : Why aren’t you seated?

Risa : ??

Kaname : Sit,Risa.

Risa took the empty seat infront of her and settled down

Kaname : Have you tried the pastries from the café?

Risa : Why are you asking me that…

Kaname : because its very nice,thought it will be a loss not trying it out.

Risa : Megumi and Yuuki are great bakers.everything they bake is great.

Kaname : That’s the name of the ones who made these?

Risa : yes.

Kaname : Have Karin briefed you about the conference?

Risa : She did.

Kaname : Did she tell you about who is going to be there?

Risa : She did.Dont worry.

Kaname : Good.

Risa : So…?

Kaname : What?

Risa : you called me here because of?

Kaname : I wanted to ask you just that.

Risa : Can I go now?

Kaname : Of course.

Risa stood up and walked straight to the door.She slowly opened then and went out.She actually let out a long sigh after closing the door behind her

Risa : Now that was … difficult.

Risa went straight to the Pantry to find both Isane and Akira there.They didn’t realize she was at the door frame but she quickly turn around avoiding them to see her at the pantry’s door.

Risa : Not a good time I suppose.Where should I go…

Suddenly her phone rang and Aya’s name appeared on the screen.

Risa : Hello Aya?

Aya : Come down,Megumi made cream puffs!Just for us!

Risa : Are you serious? You called me just for the cream puffs?

Aya : Come one,don’t want let you miss the fun.

Risa : Fine,I’ll be down in 5 minutes.I have nothing to do after all.

CAFÉ

Aoi : this could be the best cream puff I ever tasted.

Sho : (puffing more cream puffs into his mouth)

Emi : You are so good at this Megumi.

Yuuki :would you look at the cream…

Aya : I can finish them all in a blink…

Risa : (clearing her throat)

Aya : risa!

Megumi : Have some Risa!

Emi took a few pieces and put them on a plate,come lets sit there.

Risa : Are you guys having fun puffing in cream puffs?

Aoi : It is so good I swear.

Emi : Come here Risa.

Risa went to the table Emi is at and joined her.

Aya took a few cans of canned milk tea and joined them at the table too.Risa took a bite of the big cream puff and she turned to Emi.

Risa : Crap,this is perfection.

Emi : I told you so .

Aya : Anyway,you are going to Kyoto next Monday?

Risa : Yes

Emi : Interesting…

Risa : What so interesting about me going to Kyoto with some stranger Emi?

Emi : Well,he aint a stranger to you anymore.

Aya: Emi got a point.

Risa : Whatever,can we not talk about the Ishikawas while enjoying this cream puffs?

Emi : Are you gonna go home early tonight?

Risa : I don’t know yet.Depends if they are gonna let me go early.Why?

Aya : We’re going to the bar Sho suggested that day.

Emi : Not a club alright,a bar.

Aya : Its like a bar club but with no disco light you mean?

Emi  We’ll take it slowly Aya.(laughing)

Risa : Emi,like I don’t know you.

Emi :Well…

Aya : but for sure,you are not going to wear like this tonight?

Emi : Hell no,please Aya I am not going to humiliate myself tonight.

Risa : You both go,I don’t feel like going.

Aya : Attachment eh…

Risa : No. I need to talk to Senri.

Emi  : (surprised)

Aya : Finally getting the vibes?

Risa : More like I am over him after so long.

Emi : Are you even over him anyway..

Risa : You’ll never know until its time Emi.Thats why I want to talk to him.

Aya : Have you called him?

Risa : Probably later.

Aya : Right….

Risa : Just hope I wont do the same mistake.

Emi : You have us,don’t worry (winks)

NIGHT

Kaname was still in the office after finishing his work. Risa had gone to see Senri but she didn’t even tell him she was going to,she told him she’s seeing an old friend just blocks away from the office. Kaname knew something is going on but he decided not to get involved at all.He is trying his hard not to despite him being very curious about what is going on between the guy Risa met that day.

Kaname : Not a good time to think about it Kaname.(rubbing his head)

While on the other side of the town…

Aya,Sho and Aoi were hanging out at the bar Sho suggested them go,It was such classic looking bar with orange dim lights lighting up the interior of the bar. It has such an exquisite feeling to it and that’s the reason SHo suggested it to Aya.

Sho : Where did Emi go?

Aya : She needs to see her old friend.

Aoi : Old boy friend I suppose?

AYa : exactly (sipping her wine)

Sho : Interesting

Aya : Is Myu coming?

Sho : Yes she said after she is done with dinner.

Aya : …

Aoi : You look worried Aya.

Aya : No its just Emi has not called yet.

Sho : She was supposed to join us right?

Aoi : Whats up with her boyfriend?

Aya : Ex-boyfriend. He was just a freak.Emi is over him,but I don’t know what he wants.

Aoi : Where are they meeting up?

Aya : Emi didn’t tell me.And that’s why Im worried.
