KARIN’S OFFICE

Karin : Iida,please remind me to remind Kaname to pack for his trip next Monday.

Iida : Will do Karin(tapping on her iPad)

Karin : What else..what else….

Suddenly there was a knock on her door and Karin ask to come in.

Risa : Karin?

Karin : Risa-chan! Good morning!!!

Risa : Good Morning (smiles)

Iida : (smiles)

Karin : I think that is all Iida,thank you very much.

Iida : No problem Karin.I’ll go out first (smiles)

Karin : Alright, I was actually thinking of giving you a call because -- wait,who fetched you?

Risa : Isane.

Karin :Isane!?Did Kaname asked him to fetch you?

Risa : Isane said so.

Karin : Kaname has an urgent meeting this morning so that’s he cant fetch you.He’s in the meeting room right now actually.

Risa : oh its okay.(smiles)

Karin : Alright,now Im gonna brief you about your stay in  Kyoto next week.Come  lets sit down.I have enough headache this morning I can beat to stand up anymore.

Risa : you didn’t get your usual drink yet?

Karin : I asked Iida to get it for me.Akira is not even here yet.So does the other.

Risa : Alright..

Karin ; Okay for the so called trip next week,other days, you are gonna have your own free time,you can anywhere you want,but on wedneday,at night,we have a conference. I just got to know that they are several English journalist are going to be there.They are Japanese but they do reports in both languages. I think you wouldn’t have problem right?

Risa : I hope not.

Karin : They are gonna ask you questions, a lot of them.So I have prepared you several answers! I know you can just bluntly answer them but just incase they fire you with such annoying questions,you’ll know how to shut them off.Kaname is good at it so don’t worry.It will pass,it will only take 30 to 45 minutes that’s all.

Risa : Alright.

Karin : But one thing,you would probably appear on many many papers the next day.

Risa : …..oh shit.

Karin: Does your mother read newspaper.

Risa : Not really,she dislikes the papers.

Karin : your sister?

Risa : She reads them but not really,she focuses more on book cases. But no harm,I can deal with it.

Karin : Are you sure?

Risa : No worries Karin,don’t burden your mind about me.Im all fine.

Karin : Alright,what else. Oh yes,before I forgot.How is Kaname treating you?

Risa : I think he ate the wrong medicine..

Karin : Why?

Risa : And anyhow,thank you for the necklace.

Karin : I knew you would figure it out (laughing)

Risa : He seem weird actually.

Karin : How weird?

Risa : He must have hit his head somewhere before this.

Karin : Wait,why?

Risa : I don’t know,he is being all kind to me and I swear I am so scared right now.

Karin : (laughing)

Risa: I am not even kidding.

Karin : Kaname being kind would probably be a big issue.

Risa : more like a serious issue.

Karin : But in a good way?

Risa : (thinking)

Karin  : im relieved that both of you look so great together last night.

Risa : We did?All I can remember was how hard for me to not look weird in that dress.

Karin : you look fine to me Risa.Really fine and beautiful!

Risa : Im glad is over. (laughing)

Karin : Anyhow,Kaname still does not know about New York?

Risa : No.

Karin : Are you going to tell him?

Risa : If its necessary,I will.I don’t think it is.

Karin : Are you sure?

Risa : perfectly sure .

Café

Aya : I am not even joking

Emi: Isane? That Isane!?

Aya : yes.

Emi was leaning on the counter facing Aya whom were wiping the counter top beside the counter. Emi was munching on some Pocky while talking to Aya.

Aya : Risa’s face was priceless anyway.

Emi : Who does Risa likes anyway…

Aya : I don’t even know.She’s torn among these guys. Like how can you even focus on one when there are like 4 guys going after you.

Emi : But knowing Risa…

Aya : Well,like we don’t know her.

Emi put down her snack and pushed her fake glasses up.

Aya : I see you are putting effort on your nerdy look today.Where do you get those ugly shoes anyway(laughing)

Emi : These are the  horrible flats I own back in highschool.I cant believe I can still fit them.

Aya : (looking at Emi’s polka dot flats)

Emi : Just wait till Im bored with this look,I’ll change (winks)

Aya : There you go,your favorite customer.

Emi : (turning around)

The first person to enter the café that morning was Akira,he was dressed in his usual black slacks and today he’s wearing rather a plain white shirt. Not his usual strong colored tops he always wear.

Akira : Good Morning ladies (smiles)

Aya : Good Morning (smiles)

Emi : What would you like to have today?

Akira : Im thinking of something different.

Emi : Besides coffee?

Akira : What is your offerings?

Emi : Something tea based?

Akira : Any suggestions.

Emi : How about a green tea with a tinge of coffee,topped with whipped cream and some caramel

Akira : (looking at Emi with a blank face)

Emi : No?

Akira : I’ll have that.Sounds good to me (winks)

Emi was tapping on the screen,punching in Akira’s order while Akira is looking around as if he is searching for someone.

Emi : Is that all?

Akira : Oh yes,that’s all.

Emi : Alright,please wait for your drink over there (smiles)

Akira : (looking at Emi)

Emi : Is there anything else you want to add?

Akira : No no.Nothing.Thank you(smiles)

Akira went straight to wait at the pick up section while Emi resume on munching on her Pocky.

Aoi : Give me one.

Emi : Here.

Aoi : Sho is pumped out to work today.

Emi and Aoi just watch us Sho is preparing the drink Akira ordered. Sho is so good at it he can get Akira’s done in less then 10 minutes.

SHo : Alright,green tea with caramel ready!

Akira : Thank you !

Akira gave Emi a smiled before walking out of the café.

Sho : he is still searching for you Emi.

Emi : Oh shut it.

Aoi : Well,who knows he might be into you?

Emi : Not gonna eat that.

Aya : Who knows Emi(grinning)

Emi : Please don’t make me puke rainbow here.Thank you so much.Now give back my pocky Aoi!
