NIGHT

 ISHIKAWA’S RESIDENCE

Kaname was already suit up,waiting for Risa at the porch of his house.He was neatly dressed in all black tuxedo and he need to do nothing else to look presentable.He was leaning on his car waiting for Risa to come out from the house.

Karin had depart first because she needs to fetch Tatsuya from the airport before attending the wedding. Isane on the other hand is gonna meet them later at the wedding. Mia is helping Risa with all the preparation and its taking forever for them to get ready.Kaname lift his head up when he heard Mia’s and Risa’s voiced from the main hall way of the house.

Mia : We are ready!

Risa was still tying the long coat Mia asked her to put because she wouldn’t want Risa to feel cold while they are on their way to the wedding.Mia too had the same long coat on her.

Kaname : (opening the door) After you ladies

Mia : Come RIsa,we wouldn’t want to be late for the wedding !

Risa : Im gonna regret wearing this later.

Kaname just watch as Mia and Risa walked down the hall way towards the car.

Kaname closed the door after Mia and Risa has entered into the car and he went straight to the driver seat.

Kaname : Alright,Mia,tell Isane we’ll be there in half an hour.

Mia : Hai  hai.

Risa : (adjusting her hair)

Mia : Wait,let me do it for you.I cant believe I managed to this braid for you! You look like some princess in those historical movies (grinning)

Risa : I feel like a jungle princess with this hairstyle.But in a good way of course.

Mia helped Risa to adjust her hair and in return Risa helped Mia with her necklace. They were so into their chatting and adjusting each other’s appearance that they didn’t realize they have arrived at the wedding’s venue.

Mia : That was fast.

Kaname: Isane is there.

Kaname parked his car behind Isane’s car. Isane was leaning on his car,waiting for them to arrive and he lift his head up when he saw Kaname’s car approaching the car park. Isane went straight to the back door and open them.Mia was the first one to come out from the car and Isane quickly put his hand out to help Mia.

Mia : Thank you Oni-san (grins)

On the other side,Kaname was already halfway opening the Risa’s side of the door when Risa was about to open it herself.

Kaname : Not this time Risa.(opening the door for her)

Risa was left with no option but to take Kaname’s hand when he put it out to help her out of the car.

Risa : Thank you.

Kaname : My pleasure.

Mia : Shall we go now?

Kaname : Go ahead first,I left something in the car.

Isane : we can wait.

Kaname : its okay,just go ahead,we’ll catch up.

Risa didn’t realize she still has the coat on her because she was so cold that she didn’t even thought of taking it off.

Kaname : Are you gonna go in with that coat?

Risa : Its so cold I don’t even want to get it off me.

Risa reluctantly removed the coat and Kaname was already putting his hand out gesturing Risa to hand him the coat so that he can put in the car. Risa waited at the back of the car while Kaname get his stuff from the car.

Kaname : Alright,we’re good to go.

Risa : Okay,lets.

Kaname : Oh wait.

Risa : What?

Kaname : I need to do something but you have turn the other way around.

Risa : What? Seriously?

Kaname : Just turn Risa.

Risa : Fine,just what do you need to do--

Risa’s word got cut off when she felt cold around her neck and the next thing she knows is Kaname was putting a golden necklace around her neck.

Kaname : And we’re good to go.

Risa : (speechless)

Kaname : Shall we? (putting his arm out)

Risa was still speechless that she cant even move nor speak that Kaname actually took her hand and place it on his arm

Kaname : (laughing)

Risa : Don’t laugh.

Kaname just smiled while walking towards the entrance of the wedding hall,they were greeted with so many people at the entrance and a waiter showed them to their respective table.

They were seated together with theother Ishikawas and Risa spotted Karin sitting with a guy with black hair. Karin turn around to wave at her when she spotted Risa. Everyone was there,Isane,Mia,Karin,Tatsuya,Akira,Hitomi,Riho and of course.Risa and Kaname.

Karin : Meet my boyfriend Risa,this is Tatsuya, Tatsuya,this is Risa.Okumura Risa.

Tatsuya : Nice to meet you Okumura (smiles)

Risa : Nice to meet you too (smiles)

Mia : Wait,when did you put this?

Risa : (clueless) Put what?

Mia : (pointing to the necklace)

Isane : (looking at Kaname)

Mia : Kaname?

Kaname : What?

All the girls at the table actually let out a long “ hehhhhhhhhh” that made Risa speechless and she didn’t even know how to respond.

Karin : Really eh (smirking)

Mia : Now I don’t think Kaname is being Kaname now.

Riho : You changed…

Hitomi : Come on Riho, Kaname is all in love now .

While everyone is talking about Kaname and Risa.Akira and Isane both look at Risa and then they exchange glances. Kaname on the other hand cant help but to realize that.

Kaname : Don’t go anywhere without me (whispering to Risa)

Risa : I don’t even want to move from this table.

Kaname : Good.

Akira : You look beautiful today Risa.(smiling)

Risa  : Thank you Akira,that’s so sweet of you .

Riho : Risa!

Risa : ..yes?

Riho : We must take a photo together alright (grinning)

Risa : Of course ,why not ? I love photos.(smiling)

Rihio : Yatta!

Mia : Eh Akira?Where s your date?

Akira; Not this time Mia.Not this time.

Hitomi  : I thought you never failed to get a date ?

Akira : Like I said,not this time.

Riho : Are you saying you failed to get a date?

Akira  : More like the one I want is unavailable at the moment.

Isane gave Akira a glance before  reaching for his glass of plain water.

Risa was looking at the aisle in the middle of the hall,it is very flowery with all those scattered flowers on the aisle.She can see all the bridesmaids getting ready at the back of the hall and she spotted several man all in black suits 

.

And that’s the moment when the wedding song came on all eyes were locked at the bride who just came in from the main white door.

PARKING LOT.

Mia : Im going back with Isane alright,Kaname you make sure Risa get home safe and sound.

Karin : See you tomorrow Risa!

Risa bid both Karin and Mia goodbye and watched at their car passed through the big road infront of her. Kaname is just watching her  and waited for Risa to turn around.

Risa : Are you planning to sleep here?

Risa headed for the back passenger seat door before Kaname walked to her and stopped her from opening the door.

Risa : What?

Kaname  : You are going to sit infront.

Risa : (sigh)

Kaname opened the front door for her and gestured her go in.Risa got into the car without saying anything and Kaname closed the door. He actually laughed a little when he realized Risa was so annoyed by his actions. He quickly got into the car and drove off.

Kaname : (focusing on the road)

Risa : (tapping on her lap)

Kaname : Do you mind if we stop at a konbini?

Risa : (surprised)

Kaname : I don’t really get to eat just now.So Im pacticularly very hungry.

Risa : You are hungry? And you want to to a konbini?

Kaname : Why?I cant go there?

Risa : Well,I didn’t know you actually go there.

Kaname : Im still a human anyway.

Kaname drove into a shop lot area and parked infront of a 24 hours konbini.

Kaname : Come lets go.

Risa was already half way out and Kaname just laughed when Risa actually get out of the car fast enough to not let Kaname open the door for her.Kaname realized that Risa forgot to put on her coat and she was already halfway towards the convenience store.

Kaname : Risa.

Risa : (turning around)

Kaname : Wait.

Kaname removed his coat and he walked straight to Risa. He then put his coat around Risa shoulder  and then stepped back.

Risa : ???

Kaname : Its cold.Come lets go in.

Risa : oh thank..you.

Risa put on the coat properly before going into the store.Risa  just stood there waiting for Kaname to take his pick and to her surprise,Kaname actually took a instant mee cup from the shelf.

Kaname : Curry or chicken?

Risa : ...?

Kaname : Curry or Chicken?

Risa : Curry taste better Kaname.What are you doing?

Kaname : Getting a cup of instant noodle for both of us?

Risa cant help but to laugh at Kaname pressing on the hot water button for the instant noodle. Risa went to take a seat at the table in the convenience store while Kaname get the noodle done.He walked towards Risa and placed a cup infront of her.

Kaname : eat.

Risa : Are you sure you are going to eat this?

Kaname : I eat this a lot back when I was younger.

Risa : As if you are that old now.

Kaname : Eat Risa.

Risa cant hold her laugh looking at Kaname eating the instant noodle infront of her.Now that is a first for her to actually see Kaname loosen up and not acting like a living corpse she thought.

THE NEXT MORNING

Risa went to the office with Aya because Aya insist that she accompanied her.But since Kaname was unable to pick them up, none of them expect somebody else to be waiting outside the house.

Aya : Now this is a morning.

Risa : (speechless)

Isane : Good Morning (smiles)

Risa : How..

Isane : Kaname insisted me to come here and fetch you both.

Aya : hah..hahaha…

Isane : If you don’t mind?

Risa : We can just take the train you know..

Isane : He would kill me if I let you both ride the train.

Aya : You have such a crazy boyfriend Risa.I pity you.

Isane : (laughing)

Isane went to the door and opened it for them. Risa cant seem to ask Isane not to open it for her because her heart is being crazy skipping a beat all the time looking at Isane dressed as neat as always.

Risa : Breath Risa Breath.(sigh)
