CAFÉ
Risa pushed the café’s door opened and went straight to the
counter.She didn’t realize the 3 pairs of eyes whom were watching her the
moment she entered the café.
Risa : Where is he?
Emi : There,outside. Table no 8.
Aya : (pointing at the table where Senri is sitting)
Senri : (waving)
RIsa : (smiles)
Emi : He insist that he waits for you before ordering .
Risa : (sigh)
Aya : (laughing)
Risa : What?
Emi : You might want to turn around, your 7 o’clock Risa
.
Emi said that without looking at Risa and Risa stared at her
before finally turning to her 7. To her surprised the first person she saw was
Kaname. His eyes were looking at her straight and Risa just look at him without
saying anything. The guy whom were sitting opposite Kaname turned around and
Risa was surprised to see Isane smiling at her.
Risa : (smiles)
Aya : Now, I bid your good luck Risa.
Emi : I already ask Aya to tell you that.
Risa : Knowing Aya (rolling her eyes)
Emi : You better go to Senri before he comes here.
Risa excused her self and
walked slowly towards Senri,whom were seated at the table outside.
Senri : (smiles)
Risa : Sorry If I made you wait.
Senri : NO no,not all .I just arrived like a few minutes
ago.
Risa : Have you ordered?
Senri gestured to Aoi whom were cleaning the table beside
their and Aoi came to take their order. Senri ordered something light for
himself while Risa just ordered a drink from the menu.
Aoi : I’ll be back with your orders (smiles)
Senri : Not eating?
Risa : Not that hungry.
Senri : So,hows it going? Its been 5 years doesn’t it?
Risa : 5 years.Yes.
Senri : I didn’t know that you went to the states until your
mother told me.
Risa : You met my mother?
Senri : As a matter of fact yes.a day after your departure.
Risa : Really?
Senri : Yes Risa.I did.
Risa : I didn’t know that.
Senri : Because you refused to.
Risa : …
Senri : Why Risa?
Risa : Why,what?
Senri : Why didn’t you tell me you were going abroad?
Risa :It was…unplanned.I didn’t even have time to tell
anyone.
Senri : Including me?
Risa :…
Senri : I thought I was going to give you my answer.
Risa : Answer?
Senri : To the indirect question you asked me that night
after our graduation.
Risa : Its been so long Senri,I don’t think I can remember.
Senri : I remember it clearly Risa.
Risa looked at Senri without saying anything.Is not like she
don’t remember,she remember the question clearly and there is no way she could
forget about it.
Senri : I cant imagine I would need to give my answer 5
years later.
Risa : I don’t thint it matters anymore.
Senri : It matters,a lot.To me.
Risa : What do you mean?
Senri : When you came to me that night,during the dinner
party, when you saw me with Yuuka.I was actually telling Yuuka about my plans.
Risa : plans?
Senri : Yes,but my brain suddenly stopped when you came to
me.
Risa : Stopped?
Senri : yes. My plans seems to be useless actually.
Risa : What were you planning anyway?
Senri : Let me put
this in a simpler way. I never thought the girl I like,actually likes me back
that time.
Risa : ….
Senri : Im sorry if it took me this long to answer your
question but yes Risa,I do have feelings for,from the start.
Risa : Come on Senri--
Senri : im not joking. If I were,I wouldn’t be here,braving
myself to finally tell you this.
Risa’s voice seems to be stuck in her throat that she
doesn’t know how to respond to Senri’s statement. Her brain just froze and
question marked were written all over her face that time.
Senri : Risa?
Risa : I..
Senri : Don’t worry,its not like I was hoping you could
accept me right away. But,just to let you know,I wont let you go easily.Not
after all these years Risa.
Risa : …..
Risa was saved by Aoi who came to their table to served the
food and drinks they ordered.Aoi placed her drink right infront of her and all
Risa could do is stare at it.
Aoi : Enjoy your meal (smiles)
While at the counter…
Aya : Whats happening?
Emi : Risa looks speechless.
Aya : Oh shit…
Emi : What?
Aya : I think Senri said something really serious…
Emi : I don’t think Risa could answer with Kaname staring at
her as she is a prey.
Aya quickly turn to Kaname to find that Kaname’s eyes were
locked on Risa.
Aya : This guy (annoyed)
