Chapter 24

ISHIKAWA’S RESIDENCE 

Kaname was sitting on his very own reading couch,reading his favorite novel of all time. He has no plans to go out of  the house that day at all. Karin and Mia even asked him to go out for a lunch but he rejected their offer,telling that he wanted to rest at home the whole day.

Kaname : (closed his book))

Suddenly his phone rang and he quickly reached for his phone.The name “Ichirou” appeared on the screen.

Kaname : Yes Ichirou?

Ichirou : I thought you told me you wanted to stay home?

Kaname : I am.Whats wrong?

Ichirou : Then,mind telling me why am I looking at your beautiful girlfriend with your lovely cousins?

Kaname : Risa?

Ichirou : She’s with Akira and Isane at a restaurant.Her friend Aya is with her.

Kaname : Oh really?

Ichirou : I thought you were with her.Thats why I called.

Kaname : Let her be.I don’t even have time to care.

Ichirou : (laughing)

Kaname : Im hanging up.

Ichirou : Fine fine,don’t be such a dork.Are you sure you don’t want to come here ?

Kaname : I don’t.

Ichirou  : Playing hard to get indeed you are.Alright,I’ll see you tomorrow boss!

Kaname : Wait…

SHIBUYA 109

Aya and Risa were walking around the mall while Isane and Akira walking behind them.They had their lunch at one of the sushi restaurant in the mall.

Risa : What are we doing here again?

Aya : I want to get something for my workers at the café.They have been such a great help.

Risa : Oh okay.But why are they with us?

Aya : You mean the guys? I don’t know.I thought they were gonna go back after lunch.

Risa stopped walking and turn around to look at Isane and Akira.

Risa : Are you sure you both want to tag along with us?

Akira : Why not?

Isane : (looking at Risa)

Akira : A man got to accompany the ladies.

Aya : I don’t mind if you both want to part ways.I need to go and get something.

Isane : We probably would want to go to a shop.We’ll meet up at the parking lot in 1 hour?

AYa : Wait,are you going to send us home?

Isane : Yes.Of course.

Akira : we’ll see you after this (smiling)

Aya : Thank you !

Aya took Risa’s hands and pulled her along to walk together. While Isane and Akira were still at their spot,watching as the two girls enters a shop few steps away from them.

Akira : Where are we going?

Isane : I need to get something for Mia.Her birthday is around the corner.

Akira : And you need my help?

Isane : No,you need to get something for her too Akira.

Akira : Oh shit,I forgot about that.

Isane : Lets go.

BOOK STORE

Aya was busy browsing throught gifts at the gift area while Risa is browsing through all the magazines at the other side of the store.

Risa : (looking around)

Risa eyed every magazine before spotting an English magazine and quickly reached for it.She flipped through the pages before putting it back on the shelf.She looked around before spotting a magazine with the name “ Ishikawa” on it.

Risa : Ishikawa?

Risa reached for the magazine and look at the front cover of the magazine.Its a photo of Kaname and Karin dressed in matching black suits and both of them look really great she thought.

Risa : What is he even very good looking in this photo not in real life (annoyed)

Kaname : You think so?

Risa quickly turned to her right when she heard Kaname’s voice.Kaname swiftly pick a magazine from the shelf without even looking at her.He was dressed casually in black jeans and and grey tshirt.He even has his black leather jacket on him. His hair,as always perfect without even him trying to keep it still.

Risa was still in the state shock to see Kaname in front of her and she actually feel chills all over her skin because out of all people she hope she wont bump into is him.But yet,he is here,in the same mall,same shop and the same section.

Risa : (speechless)

Kaname : I didn’t know you like to read magazines.

Risa : (looking at Kaname)

Kaname : (turning to Risa)

Risa : You are the last person I wanted to see today.

Kaname : Only today?

Risa : Everyday.

Kaname : Too bad,you saw me.

Risa : What are you doing here?

Kaname : Sunday day out.Just like you.Except  that I am alone.

Before Risa could even give her reply,Aya suddenly came to her

Aya : Risa! Im done with the-- hah!?

Kaname : Konbawa,Nakazawa(smiles)

Aya : Ishikawa,Konbawa.Im surprised to see you here.

Kaname : I get that a lot.

Aya : Are you here alone?

Kaname : As a matter of fact yes.

Aya : Isane and Akira are here too.

Kaname : I know.

Risa : “I know”?

Kaname : (grins)

Aya : I see…. Well,are you planning to meet them?

Kaname : It depends. Do you need help with the bags,Nakazawa?

Kaname reached out for the bags Aya were carrying before even waiting for Aya’s response.

Aya : Oh why,thank you so much! So kind of you .

KAname : My pleasure.

Risa : Do you need to go somewhere else Aya?

Aya : No,I don’t think so.

Kaname : I’ll send you both home?

Risa : But we came with Isane and Akira.

Kaname took out his phone and tapped on a number.Aya and Risa just watch cluelessly without saying anything.

Kaname : Isane?

Isane : Yes Kaname?

Kaname : I’ll send my girlfriend and Aya home so you both can go ahead with whatever plans you have.

Isane : Wait what?

Kaname hung up and put his phone in his jacket.

Kaname : Shall we?

Risa : we can go back on our own.

Kaname : Risa,don’t start.

Aya : (laughing)

Risa : Its not like we cant.

Kaname : Well,if you have forgotten where you stand.And the deal we agreed to.

Risa : I am not an old woman .

Kaname : Good then,lets go.
